« Antumbra » refers to the subtle region where shadow and light coexist without ever fully dissolving into one another. The word evokes the viola’s singular voice, an instrument of shifting colours, capable of revealing an infinite range of nuances. On Héloïse Houzé’s debut album, this programme celebrates the instrument’s expressive richness through four works by Salonen, Shostakovich, Rebecca Clarke and Turina. A musical journey where virtuosity, poetry and depth intertwine.

Héloïse Houzé is accompanied by Rodolphe Menguy (piano), Hugo Meder and Constant Clermont (violin), Marie Ducroux (viola) and Bogeun Park (cello).
