In just a few years, with Petrusbka and The Rite of Spring – premiered by the Ballets Russes in 1911 and 1913, and also known in piano transcriptions that remain as faithful as possible to the orchestral scores – laor Stravinokv drastically changed the musical world and opened the path to the twentieth century and modern music.
