{"id":18829,"date":"2024-02-07T11:12:17","date_gmt":"2024-02-07T10:12:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mirare.fr\/?post_type=artist&#038;p=18829"},"modified":"2024-02-07T11:28:47","modified_gmt":"2024-02-07T10:28:47","slug":"guillaume-bellom","status":"publish","type":"artist","link":"https:\/\/www.mirare.fr\/en\/artists\/guillaume-bellom\/","title":{"rendered":"Guillaume Bellom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Guillaume Bellom has had one of the most atypical careers of his generation, combining violin and piano studies at the Besan\u00e7on Conservatoire with studies at <em>the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris<\/em>, (CNSMDP) where he came into contact with such musical luminaries as Nicholas Angelich and Hortense Cartier-Bresson.<\/p>\n<p>1st Prize at <em>Le Concours International de Piano d\u2019\u00c9pinal<\/em> (the \u00c9pinal International Piano Competition) and finalist and winner of the \u201cModern Times\u201d Prize for the best interpretation of the contemporary piece at <em>Le Concours<\/em> <em>International de Piano Clara Haskil<\/em> (the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition) in 2015, Guillaume Bellom revealed himself at this event dedicated to the Romanian pianist. The following year, he won the Thierry Scherz Prize at the <em>Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad<\/em>. The general public discovered him at the <em>Victoires de la Musique Classique<\/em>, where he was nominated in the \u2018Instrumental Soloist Revelation\u2019 category.<\/p>\n<p>His musical career has taken him to the <em>Festival international de piano de la Roque d\u2019Anth\u00e9ron<\/em>, the <em>Festival de P\u00e2ques d\u2019Aix-en-Provence<\/em>, the <em>Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier<\/em>, the <em>Salzburger Festspiele<\/em>, the <em>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es<\/em>, the <em>Auditorium de Radio-France<\/em>, the <em>Mariinsky Theatre<\/em> in St Petersburg, the <em>Boulez Saal<\/em> in Berlin, the <em>Teatro San Carlo<\/em> in Naples and the <em>Shanghai Concert Hall<\/em>. He has performed with Renaud Capu\u00e7on, Paul Meyer, Yan Levionnois, Victor Julien-Laferri\u00e8re, Mathilde Cald\u00e9rini, Isma\u00ebl Margain, Anna G\u00f6ckel and David Kadouch, and as soloist with the Orchestre National de France, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre National de Metz, Orchestre National Avignon-Provence and Orchestre National d\u2019\u00cele-de-France, conducted by Christian Zacharias, Pierre Dumoussaud, Ruth Reinhardt and Debora Waldman. His discography includes two albums dedicated to works for four hands by Schubert (FFFF T\u00e9l\u00e9rama) and Mozart, recorded with Isma\u00ebl Margain (Apart\u00e9), and a solo recital dedicated to Schubert, Haydn and Debussy (Claves Records). In 2021, he will record the album <em>Un violon \u00e0 Paris<\/em> with Renaud Capu\u00e7on (Warner Classics), followed in 2023 by <em>Malinconia<\/em> with cellist Yan Levionnois (NoMad Music) and the two Mozart quartets with Renaud Capu\u00e7on, Paul Zientara and St\u00e9phanie Huang (Deutsche Grammophon\/Beau Soir).<\/p>\n<p>Guillaume Bellom is a laureate of the <em>Fondation L\u2019Or du Rhin<\/em> and the Fondation d\u2019entreprise Banque Populaire.
