In 1986 he began a career as a soloist and chamber musician which has taken him to internationally renowned venues such as the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-Elys\u00e9es in Paris, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, the Coliseu in Porto, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Vredenburg Muziekcenter in Utrecht, the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo, and Lincoln Center in New York. Since 1992 he has been concertmaster of the Orchestre des Champs-Elys\u00e9es, conducted by Philippe Herreweghe.
