Amarillis is a\u00a0musical ensemble that brings together exceptional artists of different generations to\u00a0be part of an ambitious and unique artistic project in which a dialogue between artists\u00a0is forged without the need for a conductor.<\/p>\n<p>Its varied membership ranges from a group of 2 to 4 soloists to a chamber orchestra.\u00a0Recognised since its creation as a reference in the interpretation of 17th and 18th\u00a0century music, it brings together in the same spirit of chamber music some of today\u2019s\u00a0best singers (Patricia Petibon, St\u00e9phanie d\u2019Oustrac, Mathias Vidal, Ma\u00eflys de Villoutreys,\u00a0etc.) and solo musicians. The ensemble offers a variety of programmes in the form of\u00a0vocal recitals, specifically instrumental formations or projects staged in conjunction\u00a0with other artistic sensibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Winner of three international first prizes and distinguished by the Adami Classical\u00a0Revelations, the Ensemble performs in the most prestigious venues in France and\u00a0abroad.<br \/>\nAmarillis has received the highest praise from both the national and the international\u00a0press for the 20 recordings in its discography.\u00a0Passionate about teaching, the Ensemble is regularly invited and associated withvenues to pursue its pedagogical missions, thus reaching a wide range of audiences.\u00a0The Ensemble regularly participates in broadcasts by France Musique and Radio\u00a0Classique. The BBC, RAI, Mezzo, France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions and Arte have also recorded several\u00a0of its concerts.<\/p>\n<p><em>Amarillis is subsidised by the State, by the DRAC Pays de la Loire by the R\u00e9gion Pays de la\u00a0Loire, by the D\u00e9partment de Maine et Loire and by the city of Angers.
