R\u00e9mi Geniet was the youngest prizewinner in the history of the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn in 2011, and was awarded second prize at the Queen Elisabeth of Belgium International Piano Competition in 2013 at the age of twenty. Since then he has quickly established himself as one of the most prominent pianists of his generation. In 2015 he joined the prestigious Young Concert Artists series in New York.<\/p>\n
R\u00e9mi Geniet is invited to perform with many renowned international orchestras, including the St Petersburg Philharmonic, St Petersburg State Capella Symphony Orchestra, Ural Philharmonic Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Royal Flemish Philharmonic, Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, National Orchestra of Belgium, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre d\u2019Auvergne, Orchestre National de Lille, Orchestre National d\u2019\u00cele de France and Op\u00e9ra Orchestre National Montpellier, under such conductors as Marin Alsop, Emmanuel Krivine, Edo de Waart, Alan Buribayev, Augustin Dumay, Yoel Levi, Enrique Mazzola and Robert Trevino.<\/p>\n
He gives regular recitals in the leading French concert halls and festivals, including the Auditorium du Louvre and Fondation Vuitton in Paris, Piano aux Jacobins, La Roque d\u2019Anth\u00e9ron International Piano Festival, the Festival de Radio France et de Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon, Piano \u00e0 Lyon, La Folle Journ\u00e9e de Nantes and La Grange de Meslay.<\/p>\n
On the international scene, he made his recital debut at Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall) in 2014 and has played in Vienna, Geneva, Ghent, Brussels, Germany and Poland. Among the many international festivals that have invited him are Verbier, St Petersburg Arts Square International Winter Festival, La Folle Journ\u00e9e in Japan and the Montreal Bach Festival.<\/p>\n
