Born into a family of passionate musicians, Deborah Nemtanu chose to take up the violin at the age of four. Her career is synonymous with precocious success and diversity of talent.<\/p>\n
After winning a Premier Prix \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9 at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Paris in 2001 (class of G\u00e9rard Poulet), she soon found her talent meeting with international recognition.<\/p>\n
Since 2005 she has been leader (violon solo super soliste) of the Orchestre de chambre de Paris, to which she was appointed by unanimous decision of the jury. Curious and passionate in her approach, Deborah Nemtanu has gone even further by directing the orchestra and thus giving the concerto a genuine spirit of chamber music. She has performed Vivaldi\u2019s Four Seasons at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es. She has also multiplied fruitful musical encounters in concert series and festivals \u2013 including La Folle Journ\u00e9e in Nantes and Tokyo \u2013 with such artists as Gautier and Renaud Capu\u00e7on, Stephen Kovacevich, Fran\u00e7ois Leleux, Emmanuel Pahud, and Jian Wang.<\/p>\n
Deborah Nemtanu plays a violin by Domenico Montagnana dating from 1740-1745, acquired and generously made available by Monceau Assurances, which is also the orchestra\u2019s patron.
