As a chamber music partner, Boris Kusnezow ranks among the most sought-after pianists of his generation. He performs all over the world with illustrious instrumentalists and singers. His concerts led him to Carnegie Hall in New York, the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint-Petersburg, the Kioi- Hall in Tokyo, the Gasteig in Munich and the Berlin Philharmonie.<\/p>\n
His numerous recordings with diverse musical ensembles were hailed by the specialized press and reflect his extensive artistic activity. Critics (FAZ, S\u00fcddeutsche, Fono Forum, etc.) praised his exceptional qualities as a chamber musician and several of his releases were nominated by Opus Klassik and the German Record Critics\u2019 Prize.<\/p>\n
Boris Kusnezow is regularly invited as an official accompanist to prestigious international competitions including the ARD International Music Competition in Munich, Joseph Joachim Competition in Hanover and Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels.<\/p>\n
In addition to his piano career, Boris Kusnezow devotes part of his musical passion to teaching. He is currently a piano teacher at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover (Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media) and the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin.<\/p>\n
Born in Moscow, Boris Kusnezow began his musical studies at the famous Gnessin Academy before moving to Germany with his family at the age of eight. Having graduated as a soloist and chamber musician from the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover (Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media) (HMTMH) \u2013 Professor Bernd Goetzke\u2019s class \u2013 he has won several international awards and was a Fellowship winner of the Borletti Buitoni Trust, as well as the recipient of a scholarship from the German Foundation of Musical Life and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.<\/p>\n
