{"id":18539,"date":"2023-11-03T12:05:18","date_gmt":"2023-11-03T11:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mirare.fr\/?post_type=album&#038;p=18539"},"modified":"2023-11-03T12:19:10","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T11:19:10","slug":"bleue-quintet","status":"publish","type":"album","link":"https:\/\/www.mirare.fr\/en\/albums\/bleue-quintet\/","title":{"rendered":"Bleue Quintet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Ten years ago, when returning from a musical journey through India, I bought my first effect pedal and improvised a long piece for cello and electronics.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I never suspected then that my first melody, \u2018Bangalore\u2019, would be on the present record, today, ten years later, performed, on top of it, by cellists of rare generosity.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In 2018, I decided to call on Gr\u00e9goire Vaillant, an exceptionally creative electronica composer and producer. This is the kind of music in which the cello is stressed to totally unheard sound spheres, becoming edm matter, synth pads and beatbox.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was almost by accident that the \u2018Bleue Quintet\u2019 was born, while in the second lockdown, on the set of the documentary film \u00ab Et le violoncelle dans tout<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00e7a ? [So where exactly does the cello stand?]\u00bb. We played \u00ab Bleue \u00bb together, which marked the beginning of a story of friendship and trust, in the company of such wonderful performers willing to follow me in the long creative process that combines my classical roots with my practice of current and electronic music forms.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As a 13-year old child and a movie-fan, I was first planning to move towards cinema.
